ON THE LOVE OF ALLAH BEING THE END OF ALL GOALS

Muhammad Al-Mishry: On The Love of Allah Being The End of All Goals

My beloveds, as-salaam alaykum wa Rahmatullah taa’la wa barakatuhu, and after that, I praise Allah for what I heard from you all in terms of remembrance (dhikr), for remembrance is a proof of lack of heedlessness (ghaflah), and lack of heedlessness is a proof of the love of Allah, and whoever has Allah’s love has attained the end of all Goals by the proof (of the Hadith) “if I love him, I become him”

And so you should persist in remembrance (dhikr) and reflection (muraqabah), for only by these two have the successful achieved their success, and mankind’s loss with Allah is in accordance to whatever time they have lost not being in reflection. And the people of the hearts are the people of Allah, and so whoever wants to constantly be the foremost and not be overtaken should rush towards reflection, and whatever time passes in which you are not in reflection, one should know firmly that what he has lost (in that time) in goodness is worth more than all has ever attained, so return to Allah and regain what you have lost by saying “Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi rajioun (we are for Allah and to him we return)”, and shed some tears due to what you have lost of goodness in that time, and strive with what remains of your time so that you do not miss out.

And seek assistance with Salat on The Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, and Salat in its time and in congregation, and being present at the Wazifa, and this is a condition for those who have found a congregation (to perform Wazifa with) and whoever does it by himself (when a jamaat is available) will not be rewarded for it, and one must strive his upmost in the matters pertaining to the deen, and I ask Allah to look upon us with the eye of his pleasure and acceptance.

: محمد المشري ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ محبة الله نهاية المطالب ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ الحمد لله ، أحبابي السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته وبعد فإني أحمد لله على ما أسمع عنكم من ذكره ، فذكره دليل على عدم الغفلة ، وعدم الغفلة دليل على المحبة ، والمحبة دليل على محبة الله ، ومن أحب الله فقد حصل على نهاية المطالب بدليل (فإذا أحببته كنته). وعليكم بالذكر والمراقبة ، فبهما أفلح من قد أفلح ، فالناس تتفاوت في الله بحسب تفاوتهم في المراقبة ، وأهل القلوب هم أهل الله ، فمن أراد أن يسبق ولايُسبق فليبادر إلى المراقبة ، ومن فاته وقت ولم يراقب فيه فليعتقد أنه فاتهُ من الخير أكثر مما حصل عليه في ماضي زمنه كُلاًّ، ويرجع إلى الله ويسترجع مامضى بقوله إنا لله وإناإليه راجعون ، والبكاء قليل في حقه لكثرة مافاته من الخير في ذالك الوقت، ويجتهد على الاوقات الآتية حتى لا تفوت، واستعينوا بكثرة الصلاة على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم والصلاة في أوقاتها بشروطها في الجماعة ، وحضور الوظيفة ، فالحضور شرط فيها لمن وجد الجماعة، ومن فعلها وحده لا تجزئه ، فلا بد من الاجتهاد في أمور الدين ، وأسأل الله لي ولكم التوفيق ، وأن ينظر إلينا بعين الرضا والقبول .
